I went to a meeting at Imperial College a couple of weeks ago. Does that count?

    Probably not

I live up North but I have been to London a few times. If you are thinking of coming to the UK to university I suggest comin gup North. It is cheaper, the nighlife if fantastic, and you can still go to London on visits. Plus there are some very good universities spread all over the UK, it depends what course you want to do.

ICQ me if you want to chat about this further.

                Hello all! Brilliant thread!

I am only 16 (Junior in High School), but I plan to go to college in the UK. Over at the GranTurismo Forums, I've talked with a few of the UKers, and they've given me some great information and insight to British Universities.

I'd really like to go to Cambridge or Oxford, but we'll see. If I get a baseball scholarship, I'll probably have to take that to save money. This August, I got a chance to go to London (1st-15th), and had a blast. I can't wait to go back again. I'd love to live there Absolutely my favorite city in the world. Second would be NY (though I've never been there).

well i was born in London but haven't been back to the UK in nearly 16 yrs

my uncle went to Imperial College and is a professor at a Hong Kong university/college teaching mathematics now

he rang me up the other day and was suggesting i'd look at postgraduate studies in the UK instead of in Australia either Masters in Psychology, Masters in Political Science (PACs) or Masters in Finance - if i had my way i do all three LOL

of course this is just an idea.. but it has gotten me thinking for the future

right now checking out colleges such as the London School of Economics & Political Science http://www.lse.ac.uk/ (hear that is ones really hard to get into??? ) and London Business School - http://www.lbs.ac.uk/

but i had my mind set on doing my postgrad studies at the same uni i graduated from for my Bachelors - University of Queensland, St Lucia campus - www.uq.edu.au

however, it looks ok at the moment (he says).
