Have you guys (& gals) been following this story? The mainstream news glosses over it if they mention it at all, but there are a lot of disturbing things coming out. Check this out:

A couple of my friend who attend the University of Pittsburgh were harassed and a couple arrested. This was because they were "grouping together" illegally (apparently peaceful groups are a security danger). That entire conference was a calamity--the city of Pittsburgh was turned into a police state over the course of 2 days.
Bear in mind also that Oakland (where Pitt is located) is a good distance away from the David Lawrence Convention Center (where the conference was being held). This conference was an excellent representation of some of the sadists who work as security officers (whether private or public). -
It all goes back to the voters. If you want "real" change, and not the obama type of change, the 2 major parties have to be removed from office.
If people are really worried about the USA turning into a police / socialist state, then they need to vote for another political party.
For the past 15 years I have been voting for the Libertarian Party. I vote for them because I want real change.Comment

There's no such thing as "mainstream news" any more. If you want the truth, you have to dig it out for yourself.Anybody who says "it can't be done" will usually be interrupted by somebody who is already doing it.Comment
