      The default style has validated since 3.0 shipped except for a minor bug here or there that has always been fixed as soon as it was caught.

        I've never seen it validate. The Web Developer Toolbar always said it was invalid. Ok now though.

              Most of the sites on that blog bored my deeply and I see no real improvements as an end user. At least when flash based sites were the rage it could be mildly entertaining, now the internet is starting to all look the same. Designers all copy each other too much, going for that "minimalist" "Web 2.0" look (I hate the term Web 2.0 as well).

              I wish we could go back to the internet of 2000.
