You could write out word problems.

If I have 8 apples and gave away 2 how many apples do I have?

Yes, but a person could write the answer to that as both: 6 or Six. But only one of them would be the right answer. You don't have the option (well I don't) to choose two correct answers So it's better really to give the answer in the question like.

If I have 8 apples and gave away 2 how many apples do I have, 2 or 6 apples left.
If I have 8 apples and gave away 2 how many apples do I have, Two or Six apples left.

Answers are not case sensitive, so it doesn't matter if they write Six or six

A person will read that and choose one of the two the RED answers.

Another is to use colours as answers.

What 3 letter colour do you see displayed in this sentence that begins with "R" and ends with "D".
What 5 letter colour do you see displayed in this sentence that begins with "G" and ends with "N".

just thought about something though, colour blindness with some people. Dam!!!
