The only thing I fear if centOS discontinue, is to install another linux disrto and setup the servers from the scratch. There are so much tweeks and tuning that I prefer to not go through. But in the other hand if centOS stopped, it will take at least a year until people really needs a newer version, as the latest version of centOS now has no high critical bugs.

I know, the fear I had was based on what I read first on centos.org. But now it looks ok, even if they are moving to another domain, no worries at all.while(true){

Well never say never, there is obviously some turbulance there - and who knows how much input that dev has, he may decide to leave and things 'could' go tits up from there.
I just hope that doesn't happen and they resolve it quickly and amicably.Comment

That is possible but sounds like they are not to give up, they have backups and everything ready to move to another domain. Only time will tell, hopefully something positive.while(true){

No need to panic folks.. CentOS isn't going anyware.
The CentOS Development team had a routine meeting today with Lance Davis in attendance. During the meeting a majority of issues were resolved immediately and a working agreement was reached with deadlines for remaining unresolved issues. There should be no impact to any CentOS users going forward.
The CentOS project is now in control of the CentOS.org and CentOS.info domains and owns all trademarks, materials, and artwork in the CentOS distributions.
We look forward to working with Lance to quickly complete all the agreed upon issues.
More information will follow soon.
