If you're on an PPC or Intel powered Mac and you are a 32bit fan, stick with Tiger. Otherwise if you're an Intel powered Mac user and can: Upgrade for $29 to Snow Leopard to get a more stable and refined 64bit OS. Why not..

Of course I am interested in Snow Leopard, I want the most out of my system. This helps achieve that.

Just to say I've been playing with SL for the last few days and it gets the thumbs up from me. I do think Leopard should have been SL really, it feels a fair bit snappier and much more like my windows desktop machine in that regard (on a MBP at present).

I'm back on Leopard now and look forward to seeing the gold version in September

Only Apple would lambast Windows 7 for being an "upgraded Vista" and then proceed to talk about Snow Leopard, which is a "better Leopard." Hypocrisy at its finest.

That said, though, I will be getting Snow Leopard, as I really do like the improvements being made throughout the OS. I think minor tweaks and improvements to already existing features account for more than new, gimmicky features.

I will not reply with what I would like to reply, I don't want to feed the troll more.

Anything of note worth actually paying full price for? I think im still on the last version of OSX.

The snappier 'feel' alone is worth it - it just feels that little bit more responsive.

The thing I wanted most wasn't actually in the build I tried, expose on holding down a mouse click on an app icon to quickly show all it's open windows (I know you can already do this by assigning to a hot corner, but this way you don't need to click on the app first).

I run it on my laptop, so i guess better preformance is good. I guess I am just not a fan of the Apple update model.
