Computer Chat Browser that does multiple rows of tabs...

    besides Firefox???

I just cant take it anymore. I've been married to FF for some time now but I'm breaking it off it crashes WAY too much these days and the only reason I use it, is because of the multiple rows it allows with one of its plugins.

    help a brotha out.

Time to ditch your 32-bit Operating System. I have no problem running 30-40 tabs in IE8. Though I am on Windows 7 (64-bit) and only have the beta of IE8.

I have no problem running Firefox for days at a time without crashes. Would be weeks but there have been a lot of Windows Updates lately for the beta. I am using the 32-bit version of Firefox but I have quite a few addons including a theme & plugin combination called Vista-Aero that gives Firefox the IE7/8 interface. Have 26 tabs and 3 windows open in Firefox at this time. The extra 2 windows contain Hulu and Pandora streams.

FF is crashing on both systems. I have 32 at work 64 at home. is there a plugin for IE8 that will make multiple rows or a setting I'm missing?

Most toolbars are the worst add-ons ever created, and do more harm then good.

I only have two toolbars, StumbleUpon, and Web Developer.

Then I have Abduction, AVG Safe Search and Firebug add-ons.

How many add-ons do you have, in total?

                  Nevermind then. :P

I was gonna say, most troubles in Firefox come from Add-Ons, but I doubt that is your problem.

Just going to add that IE 8 and FireFox 3 both handle as many tabs as you can throw at them as far as I can tell. IE 7 didn't have a proper tab system hence why it was rather sluggish and unreliable.

I would imagine there might be an add-on for Opera that would also support multiple rows.

It does a single row - but it squeezes them when you have more and offers a thumbnail preview too.

And it doesn't crash or feels bloated like firefox. And there's no risk of 'make sure this plug-in if from someone you trust' because all the best bits are included as standard.

Give it a try, set-it up as per my guide and see for yourself why I love it so much
