      nah, just play with it. Thats what I do with Linux, although I'd love to stomp that damn penguin to death sometimes, I like trying out new stuff.

            Got a whole bunch of 'em.

            Some running OS 9.

            Some running OS X (10.1).

            Laptops, servers, desktops, rack-mount .

            Also have Intel and AMD hardware running Linux and Win2k...

                        What. We have no SGI IRIX people here? Come on folks, The new Octane 2 workstations only run a measly $7,500 or so. Jeez, spend a little.

                        IRIX is really cool, love the GUI, but I wish I could afford one. You can get a few old SGI Workstations off eBay for a good price, but many of them dont come with the IRIX CDs or Drive cages etc. I wanna buy a couple of old Indys or Personal Iris stations just for messing around.

                            It never ceases to amaze me at how threatened PC users seem to be by Macs.

                            Now you don't see me burning my PC when I've had to reboot it for the third time in a day. Not that I don't burn it , just that you don't see me ...
