Whats the point of having a thread of pure nonsence? I would have deleted that a long time ago.

Although it started out that way at GTPlanet, it quickly evolved into a chat room of sorts, and has played a strong role in the strengthening of our community, as well as increasing our activity.

Actually we have a forum dedicated to spam, it keeps the members happy and it keeps the rest of the place clean =)

(as it happens, that forum can be rediculously funny at times)

edit: its at 275 pages now. (12N eastern)

                      901 pages, 13502 replies, 35147 views.

The point? Well, its in a forum where this is allowed for one, plus when people feel comfortable enough when each other to engage in nonsense, I feel I've done my job in creating an environment where that is possible. Its harmless fun really and people enjoy having this kind of outlet.

We don't call it spam, its post-racing

Before now, the most replies I've ever seen in a thread were 668 (and counting) in this thread!

How very very large those other threads are.

I think our biggest substantial thread was the first one about the World Trade Center, which basically started up as soon as the first plane hit:

                          800 replies and 15310 views.
