    how to attract spambots?

what is the best way to attract as many spambots as possible to a message board? apart from removing human verification, of course.

    1. does forum engine (phpBB/SMF/vB/IPB) play any role?
    2. does the domain name have any effect?
    3. what about front page content? anything specific to attract those bots?

    thanks in advance

Allow posting without signing up (guest posting), no CAPTCHA, no token for POST to make sure they used your page's script.

Pretty much, just allow straight posting from the page—or any page/script—and you should be able to get as many as can find it.

Good luck Let us know the results if you're inclined ;D

Hmmm, a honeypot for forum spammers. Now that is an idea...

Maybe Greps is coming from the future. He's trying to prevent SpamNet from ever being created and taking control of the world many years from now by setting a black hole forum to swallow them all.

What on gods earth would make you WANT to attract spambots????
                  Jut a random internet person.

No this is a very good question.

If you can attract them, then you can learn how to make them go away. *I think*

Indeed. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer, as the old saying goes
