As it is, I doubt we have heard the last of McCain or Palin. They will be heard over the next few years as well. We'll have to see how a Democrat government works over the next two years now that there are no checks and balances between the Legislature and Executive offices.

Fox news is a joke in itself. They are right wing and unreliable when it comes to reporting the left. Just go on youtube and you'll find about 1000 examples of it. Im sure he wont be able to do everything he promised. He's not a superhero but at least we have an actual chance for change.

I'm finding it hard to think of anything positive that happened or has been achieved under the Bush administration throughout his 8 years in office. I don't know, but the coalition needs to bring its troops home and at the very least stop the deaths of its own citizens/soldiers in the name of the freedom for another country.

Nothing positive? I understand that you are an outsider and as such I can forgive your ignorance of Bush's total Presidency. First and foremost, without getting into a big debate over good things and bad things his administration did, lets just say that following the attacks of 9-11, he kept his country safe from further terrorist attacks. Actually, and I have been to over 65 countries, America is one of the LEAST racist countries you will ever see. Many people both Americans and non-Americans think America is racist because we have such an open society and we don't hide things that are ugly here. These people however, are generally people that have never traveled out of the States or to the States and have nothing to compare it against.

The media tells them one thing and they assume it is fact and form an opinion on it without finding out for themselves.

They just had a poll (post election) that showed that something like 70% of the people (voters) in the US felt the media made a concerted effort to help get Obama elected and that only 7% of the population felt that any media source tried to help McCain.
