vB Dev blog starts June 7th!!

The Dev blogs could be made to stand out in other ways, right?

We always try to run vBcom as 'out of the box' as possible.

I am aware of this, but I think you will agree this is an unprecedented situation.

To be honest, I think a blog (the one vb uses) is just fine as it is to be used for a "staff" blog. It's an easy permission scheme to simply decide limit it to the developers only. This way they stand out, are easy to find, and can't be confuzed with blogs from customers who use it for press releases or other news they find important. Cusomers can still use the blog on their own site, and I don't think a new separate solution is needed, and earlier a bit of overkill.

You are probably right.
Potential customers of the Blog may feel the need to test it thoroughly, though, so I guess we will see how it comes across.

So this will be similar to what IPB is doing? But they still allow users to make blogs but here they cant? Just trying to see what your goal is
