Computer Chat Intel or AMD?

well. I just wanted to have some discussion in between AMD and Intel Inside!

Which on of the following you prefer? and WHY???

I PERSONALLY have used both of them and i like Intel Inside! because this processor is more faster with less heat up LOL!

AMD are slacking at the moment. The Q6600 is a fantastic, affordable processor that can be OC'd without any hassle. Beats anything else hands down for value and speed

If intel so good, then why when I go to any store that sell computers with both processors and be told to stay away from duo core or the quad from intel. I was told that intel was inflating and boosting bogus results. I am including every store from box to specialty. Only place I could not find any good source, is from websites. It could be that every retailer in every store had an AMD representative pop in and told them to sell their product and you get a bigger piece of the pie or it is true.

I've always been a fan of Intel, don't ask me why lol. But the irony in it is, that in every Intel Inside, there is AMD Inside. (I'm looking at currently produced Intels, and late-Pentium 4 models.)
