Do you think Earth ends 2012?

Due to all the talk about Nibiru

Mayan calendar is said to set the "end of world" in December, 2012.

It doesn't really matter if I think it does or not.
Because if it happens, it will just happen... if it doesn't happen, nothing happens and I can just move on. No need to create a panic over it. I'll just continue my life as it is.

Keep in mind the Mayans also predicted correct dates for other evens. Can I remember them? No. I saw it on the History Channel.

Did these dates really work? Or was it a fake?

Mayans were a dome and gloom cult.

Now were safe, as we only have nine planets. That means the tenth planet is nomore. Yippie
August 24, 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) formally downgraded Pluto from an official planet to a dwarf planet.
What was the 2000 one about? The return of 'The Messiah (savior)'... to bad the story is over 4000 years old.

The Earth doesn't end... Modern Society gets ripped apart and humanity would face an apocalypse.. However the race and the planet would survive.

At least going by the various writings on the Internet. Not a conspiracy theorist myself, though I am prepared as much as possible for natural disasters.

Not that it really matters, because it doesn't change the fact the Pluto is still there.

That, and the whole deal of why Pluto was removed from being called a planet was somewhat dumb anyway.
Congratulations on the death of vBulletin, Internet Brands.

I don't think it will end, but all this stuff kinda creeps me out... But as some of you have already said, the world was supposed to end many times before, but i'm still here typing so i think we'll be safe... for now!

Well, if it happened, it's not like we'd know anything about it... so why worry?

Frankly I'd be more likely to believe Isaac Newton's prediction of 2060 for the end of the world. It seems to match what is happening with both Global Warming and the depletion of Oil Reserves.
