Computer Chat Looking for a log tailer

Hi,

I am looking for a log tailer so I can tail my raw server logs. I can only find either Java applications which were made sometime last decade (which don't work) or applications which say "Not responding" after having selected the log for it to view...

Surely there must be a way to easily view 300mb log files on Windows?

Any suggestions?

I found this article that explains how to do it.

I'm not sure how it works / if it works. But basically you download this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en (It says the listed OS's are XP and Server 2003) and it includes a tail.exe, which works the same way the UNIX tail command works.

So you could then use "tail.exe -20 My.log" to view the last 20 lines from My.log.
