hello there,
I am attempting to build a file server for a network of 10 windows machines. Currently I have no idea of the hardware I will be putting in, but I want to make it flexible and expandable and keep it as low-cost as possible.
Does anyone have any experience/suggestions for what sort of hardware I should get? Keeping in mind, that I want to set it up with RAID to be able to support up to 2 TB of data initially but expandable in the future. Also the computer won't be used for anything but management of files and users for the 10 computers (I am guessing a P4 or a Core Duo might do)
Thanks!
