No particular reason, just the same as the "IPB v's vB" vote poll really, just general news to talk about. Some might choose to run both vB and phpBB on one server. So I was just giving the heads up on the latest.

Let's be civil and respectful to the folks at phpBB. It is regardless still quite an accomplishment for their community, especially one that doesn't charge money for quite a respectable forum application.
