I wasn't criticizing you, or your profile, but the fact that vB considers this to be a new feature that we need or want.
How about a CMS, gallery, classifieds, ad management, file downloads or something that might add value to a site? The ability to create useless and horrible looking profiles, I just can't see the utility.

I completely agree. And if you look at the current growth rate of Facebook (which does NOT allow stylizing of profiles) with MySpace (which of course, does), it appears that many people are fed up with the crap you get when you open the floodgates and let people stylize their profiles. In short, Facebook is now growing much faster than MySpace.

Let's not forget the fact that hundreds of vB users asked for the option to customize and design their own profiles. It IS an option that can be disabled by the forum admin
