my parents know that I run a website, they dont know anything about it though. :P

considering I'm only 17 they probably think it's some site that was wiped together and a waster of webspace... little do they know its a forum nearing 2000 members making me almost 2 bucks a day. :P

Mines do, though they don't have a care about it. They don't use a PC at all, so for them it's nothing.

My father is my forum's biggest supporter & top poster. He was involved in almost everything and he had even paid for the vB license through a money order because my CC was expired at the time.

He often criticizes me for not taking enough care of the community, as he thinks.

About the topic of parents understanding what an online community or msgboard is, .. I tried to explain it and they talked about it with my brother, and my brother purchased 3 licenses this year to power his sites. They still don't know exactly what it is, but they are excited to see we're all busy powering interactive sites using software
