When I log in as a user then do a SU to root and try to run Linuxconf it says "Command not found" I have granted the user to run linuxconf..... ANy ideas?

The path ain't in the root account that's why. Simply type "/sbin/linuxconf".
Alternatively, do a "ls -las" in your root's home directory and edit the file .bash_profile to add "/sbin/" to your path, so that next time all you have to type is "linuxconf".Well, there it is.
