As you will have picked up from James' announcement, the recent merger has provided me the opportunity to officially finish my involvement with Jelsoft. Over the last few years, as I'm sure many of you are aware, I have been focussing on other interests while maintaining a very low-level involvement with vBulletin. It has been a great encouragement to watch Kier take on vBulletin and grow it in ways I could only have dreamt of. It is fantastic that the top-notch technology is supported by a first-class team, both development and customer services. I look back on seven very exciting years of vBulletin and nearly ten years of Jelsoft with many happy memories. I am proud to have been involved and excited for all the new opportunities this acquisition presents. James continues to lead Jelsoft with my complete support. vBulletin is very close to my heart, and I am absolutely convinced that this is the best next step to growth.
Sarah and I are continuing to work as apprentices at a church in Hastings. It is a privilege to be able to volunteer to work in an area that has seen a lot of deprivation over the last few decards. I'm pleased that whatever I have gained financially from Jelsoft can be used to serve these lovely, but often downtrodden, people, working not just for their good now, but also their eternal well-being, by sharing with them about Jesus.
So, I'd like to publicly congratulate the team for getting to where they are today, and I wish you all the best for the future!
