Just got an ipod nano

Unless your iPod nano has some hidden video capabilities, you are pretty much stuck to music

Did you get the good first gen that looks sexy or did you fall for the pithole and go with the toy looking second gen?

Either ways... fun things you can do with it... how about install linux on it to play doom? I didn't get as far as playing doom on mine, but I've certainly got linux running on it for a brief bit

There is some modification for watching video in iPod Nano, try to google it i'm sure you'll find it within few minutes.

Only the 1G Nanos are customizable so far. The 2G Nanos (I have one), as far as I know, can't be customized yet with custom firmware, iPodWizard, etc.

I'm just the opposite... The 1G nano looked alright, but I prefer the look of the 2G, it's also a bit harder to scratch.

A classmate of mine left his on a stove (yes, his house is a mess) and turned on the wrong one... He's now got a cool half melted iPod nano that still works perfectly fine.



Oh, and I haxed mine to watch videos too now but I'm not sure if I've got the best configuration; still gotta play around with it some more when I have a chance to do so...
