I think this was quite funny as it can't be a connection problem as their all on one machine lol.

Remote Assistance probably won't work well (if at all) on a virtual machine, as you'd thus be emulating from within an emulator. It probably only works on a hard copy of the OS.

Same thing happened when I tried it on two different machines. Neither of the OS where virtual.

Its either a resource issue, or a problem with the video using a Virtual Machine..
Plus the huge stack of licenses that you have for those OS's, they get a little heavy

Is owning lots of licences bad then?

I wouldn't say it's bad. Just you have 3 Windows Server OS's, 2 various versions of XP, 2 versions of Vista...I don't think I'd ever use 1 Windows Server OS on my PC, let alone 3 different ones.

I don't like use them for proper use the XP and vista ones are only their for testing, and so is the server longhorn, plus home server was free as I got an invite to test it... if its free its fine by me

Plus.. If i test something on a virtual machine and the virtual machine stops working its better than testing it on my machine main OS and not having an OS at all any more.

It's not expensive to have all those licenses. Just 1 TechNet subscription is enough...

Nope, also the home server is now being re-installed due to everything slowly stopped working, even remote connect :O well remote worked but it logs you on like normal and takes you to a pure blue screen no explorer.exe no nothing .
