Some jerk is copying my board, via rss I think

    http://www.cct occ.com/

my site is at http://www.act uarialo utpost.com

He's copied the front site, sans a few images, and then he has a copy of my forum, but only a small bit. I guess he thinks he can steal my content and then put google ads on it. :roll of the eyes:

Anyone else have this problem ever?

I've already filed a DMCA complaint. For kicks, I also filed a YMCA complaint

You can turn of RSS feeds if that's a problem.

You might also be able to block his servers IP from accessing them, using a .htaccess file.

Do you know of / have any examples of an .htaccess file that would do that?

I don't want to turn off the RSS, because I use it to mod my board, and I'm sure a lot of my members use it too.

Adding this to the .htaccess file should work:
        order allow,deny
        deny from 123.45.6.7
        allow from all

Adjust the IP address to be that of the offending boards server.

Also you may want to consider doing an IP block from server direct this way he/she cannot get to your domain and cannot copy &paste your code if thats what their doing.

You could create it so if the request is coming from his IP, use a different RSS that says "COME VISIT THE REAL FORUMS HERE!" which would get posted in his forums

It mentions the Actuarial name for both forums.
