Is it possible to download a thread?

We have a board member who just passed away, and she kept a "journal" on the board. I was thinking it would be nice for her family to have it, and I know I can print it out, but it's a REALLY long thread (almost 2000 posts, since members have paid their respects etc), so I was wondering if there's anyway I can download it so I can burn it on a cd? I'm fairly new to vB (moved from phpBB2 last summer), so I'm not familiar with all the options yet. Would it be possible to do something like this from the admin panel or from the db?

Click with the right mouse button over the page with the thread you wanted, and select "Show Source...". Afterwords it will show you the HTML code in some editor, most probably notepad, so you should save by enetring the name with ".html" extension in the end.

Or you could just Right click the page and save as...

If it's not there, File -> Save As...

That will also grab all the images on the page so there won't be any broken images

You can find a nice hack at vBulletin.org, which allows you to download a thread as pdf.

Also if you are using Mac OS X just go to File -> Print -> PDF (Bottom left) -> Save as PDF...

I was going to suggest this, as well. Sounds like the best option for what you need to do with the thread.
