    It would not break the liquid style at all. Changing to a tableless layout has nothing to do with page width, since you can style the page however you want via CSS.

    I think phpBB's style is great, and is definitely a big leap forward for bulletin board design. The rest of their site looks great as well, especially compared to Jelsoft's.

    Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already, but it appears that the latest phpBB now comes in modern tableless form. Have a look at the source code of:



    I would never switch to phpBB, but I sincerely hope that Jelsoft will introduce a tablefree vBulletin base design some time in near future.
