    Hello from Michigan

    Hi,

I just purchase vBulletin yesterday and put up my new Health Forum.

It was easier than I thought to setup, although I'm still trying to figure a few things out. There's a lot of options to choose from.

    Anyhow, wanted to say hi.

oh is it health like "don't eat meat its bad for you"? or is it proper health like "eat veggies and meat"?

Also did you know that if you don't eat meat you actually make your self 10 times less stronger because you need meat for your muscles to grow.

I'm not much of a health guy so didn't read any of the forums nice logo btw.

We don't tell anyone to eat meat or not. Just try to give some good advice.
We send out articles to our newsletter group. Also we sell heath supplements. Not on our forum but our other site.

                    Jake,

Don't know what a stone is.

Everyone is different. I don't know what specifially you should eat. I'm not a doctor or a certified nutritionist.

I can recommend some basic ideas, that I believe is right based on my own research.

Eat organic as much as possible to avoid pesticides, hormones, and GMF.

Read labels on foods and learn what they mean.

                    Don't eat junk food.

Try to not eat too much processed foods. Don't go to McDonalds or
                    restuarants.

I know you heard this before: Eat plenty of vetegables, some raw, and eat some fresh fruit, nuts etc.

                    Exercise.
Don't use toothpaste you find in a regular store.

Now I'm sure you are goning to do all these things starting today.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is an inexpensive detergent, and thought to be dangerous and an irritant to use on the skin and hair.

I wouldn't want to put that in my mouth.

                        It's in most conventional toothpaste.
You can read about it here:
                        http://www.healthy-communications.co...sirritant.html

We should probably of been discusing this on my health forum instead . LOL

Fast food could contain who knows what. All that fat, grease, burnt stuff. Frozened, thawed, microwaved, fried, with added igredients that isn't natural for humans to consume.

You should visit Mercola.com You can learn a lot on his site. I don't aggree 100% with him but popbably 90%.

He has some grreat information. Too bad he charges so much for S/H though.

Let's face it. 40 years ago it was unusual to see more than one overweight person in a group of people, now it's unlikely to see more than one slim person.

Do some reasearch on what they put into foods, such as MSG. Google "dangers of MSG" or whatever else you want.

A stone is a british/english term for weight, but is Imperial.
A stone is equal to approx 13 or 14 pounds..

                              untrue on both counts.
