Blueprint and other model design softwares (for mac)

I saw this post http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...93#post1184993 where Kier designed his own desk to be made by someone else.

I would like to design my own aswell, but do not know which program to use to design such things. I am on a Mac...any suggestions?

SketchUp is pretty easy to use. Blender is another option and is more complicated, but more difficult to learn as well.

Both are free. I "designed" my desk in SketchUp.

Sketchup is simple, quick and good enough for these type of amateur projects yeah.
