I usually use the arm of my upholstered chair. I use that mouse with my laptop from my home, feet up on ottoman, wiener dog squished next to me, hand on wireless mouse on arm of chair.

Its nothing magical on my end. When I went through one wireless mouse set of rechargeable batteries, recharging them every few days, I went to CompUSA and asked the guy if this was normal. It was...except for the optical Logitech wireless. It lasts much much longer.

Read the reviews and the description. Batteries last up to one year.

I just use rechargeables and the charging station that came with my mouse. Mouse batteries last anywhere from 2-3 weeks if not charged every night. Keyboard batteries last about 3-4 weeks.

Normally we have between 8 and 24 batteries charged and ready to go. A total of 160 rechargeable batteries in the house for remotes, game controllers, cameras, toys, etc...
