I'd have gotten Business, but each to his own. If you have an Xbox 360, Home Premium or Ultimate would probably be the better choice.

That comes out to about $121.89. This is a full OEM copy, right? And not an upgrade edition? My college is selling Home Premium for $90 and Office 2007 Standard for $139. I might get both, although I'm also waiting to see if MSDNAA will offer either for less.

It looks like it. It says OEM.

I just took advantage of the offer to get 2 Home Premium Editions for $49.99 each. You need to have Ultimate to take advantage of the offer. I upgraded my wifes box and my laptop. Then I upgraded my laptop to Ultimate for $114. I planned to put Ultimate on my laptop anyway and figured I'd save a few bucks going XP > Home Premium > Ultimate. All in all it worked well. Got the Ultimate upgrade for $114 + $49.99 = $163.99 instead of $249.

AWS - do you know if the offer for Home Premium offer for $49.99 applies to Ultimate Retail, or is it extended to Ultimate OEM as well?

I Prefer My OEM Seller so much cheaper and 100% Legal for around £40, because well, thats what Vista Ultimate is really worth. .

Apparently, Microsoft does not agree with you.
