    the best MMORPG of 2007

it looks like 2007 will be rich with new MMORPGs. which one, do you think, will be the best representative of the genre?

    Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures
    Gods and Heroes
    Pirates of the Burning Sea
The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar
    The Chronicles of Spellborn
    Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
    Warhammer Online

note that I didn't include burning crusade in this poll because it sucks by default and no possible meaning of the word 'best' can be applied to that chavfest.

Lol, I'm not a hardcore fan of WoW (although I do play WoW: BC on occasion) but to say "it sucks by default and no possible meaning of the word 'best' can be applied to that chavfest." shows me that you have an obvious bias, and therefor you imposing your biases reflects how you want people to vote, which in the end makes this thread = crap. If anything, don't include BC because it's only an expansion.

          1. I do, indeed, have an obvious bias
          2. I don't force anyone to vote
          3. if it makes you feel any better, sure, BC is an expansion and that's why I didn't include it

yes, amazing it is, and I am currently playing it, but as far as I know no major updates are planned, only the next 2 Revelations patches and a DX10 graphics update. and those hardly qualify as a new game

Vanguard without a doubt. Been playing it since Beta 3 and it is by far the best MMORPG I have ever played (I have played EQ1, EQ2, WoW and Eve online).

Graphics are great, gameplay is challenging and the world is massive. Not much more you can ask for to be honest in MMO.

Warhammer Online & Gods and Heroes are the two I'm most interested in.

Where are the Firefly and Battlestar Galactica MMO's?

But from the list, I'd have to go with Warhammer Online.

                MGM out

On a totally off-topic note, do all of these MMORPG have a montly fee, or are some free?

They are usually attached with a monthly fee (how else you think they keep the servers online)
                      Best Regards,

Being pathetically obsessed by LOTR, I'd have to go with that. I didn't get into the beta so I'm hoping they'll have a free trial of sorts (that doesn't require registering your card with them)
