    I leave for Toronto today at 4-PM

    I am going down for Open Heart Surgery at the Toronto General Hospital, i will be gone about a week, possibly 6 days if i am nice to the nurses.

    So ill be back in a week with a wonderful new scar down my Sternum.

    If anyone was wondering exactly what is being done in the Surgery. they're doing the following

    - Fixing two holes in Heart, ASD & VSD -
    For the ASD - The septum is closed using sutures or covered with a patch made of membrane or synthetic material.
    For the VSD - Same Surgical repair as the ASD, with a synthetic patch.
    Fixing Mitral Valve "Prolapse"

    Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)
    Atrial Septal Defect (ASD)

    I will be back in about a week

                                      He is way better informed about this than I am, we had some good chats too. I am pretty sure he knows I have confidence in his recovery. I am just being honest that this news scared me.
