Banning free email addresses

Hi

I'm interested to know how many Admins have blocked free email addresses from joining their forums. If so, has it affected the amount of new members registering and did you mention this in your terms & conditions/rules?

I do not block "free" email addresses such as MSN, Y! or GMail. I do block "free" email systems that allow for bulk & annonymous email.

Why do you need block free emails from your board? Do all your members got a personal website and an email for it?

I've banned most free e-mail accounts except for some of the most popular ones, like AOL, GMail, Yahoo!, etc.

I don't block 'free' email addresses but I do block emails that delete them self after a day.

We generally allow free accounts on our smaller sites but ban them for new users on the larger sites.
