    No Cache on VB forum and SERPs

    I see that by default on vbulletin this code appears in the header
    Code:
    <!-- no cache headers -->
        <meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache" />
        <meta http-equiv="Expires" content="-1" />
        <meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache" />
        <!-- end no cache headers -->
    which prevents pages from caching. Does this feature not also hamper the SERPs from crawling a page if the page can't be cached to the server?

    i noticed that this feature is not on the vbulletin support forum either.

    You can enable/disable the no-cache header in the vb Admin CP options.

        On one of the forums i help admin we have enabled the no-cache header (for the last 6 months or so) and there doesnt seem to be a problem with search engines results. The owner of the forum is seo savy... we are also using vbSeo will succes up to this point.

        widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
        Working...
