Can't get it. Did vBulletin-Germany installed vBCMS on its homepage?

Not as far as I know. These screenshots come from an unrelated site.

Honestly looks like an enahcned verison of vBA CMPS.

Edit: looking closer, and reading a translation of that post, I'd have ton say it possibly is. The layout and way some things are done are just too closely related. Altho I'd have to see code to know for sure.

how about vBEasy Portal/CMS 1.4? all these previously unknown vB-powered CMS' seem to have come out of nowhere.

from what I managed to translate with google, it seems that it is currently in alpha testing.

the weird thing about this vBCMS thing is the fact that it's only being advertised for the German market, which leaves a huge portion of potential english speaking customers looking for alternatives. I hope this approach will change though because personally, I can't wait to uninstall vBAdvanced.

So your ditching a vBa CMPS for its clone?

CMPS is good backend system but it lacks a real (and independant) news / article system.

I don't like it. Having four columns of boxes is really going to pee off those using 800x600 screens or using increased font size....

If Jelsoft ever do bring out a CMS I would hope for something like Joomla, but faster and with full forum integration.
