The speed thing is BS. Using google analytics it shows over 80% of the people using my site are in high speed. And even then from what I'm told on dial up it loads relatively fine. Also it was online since 2004. Yes. But in May of 2005 my old webhost helped fubar things nicely. So it was lost. July of 2005 I re-opened it from scratch. Yes members had to re-join. Since that time it has gotten over 6,600 members. I have to say, its actually doing much better now than it did then. ^_^

In the SEO world, Alexa's numbers are doubted. Ad agencies are looking at the numbers and profiles from www.quantcast.com. Signup and see what they give you. They give preliminary stats if you put in a web address.
