    Having trouble with domain

If you go to www.messagemorgue.com, what are you seeing? A green and blue parking page or an actual website? If a number of people could tell me I'd appreciate it as I'm having trouble with the domain.

    Thanks

Your site...but my ISP is ridiculously good about picking up on DNS changes.

Thanks Joe for your help but I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I've just got the domain messagemorgue.com redirecting to http://www.horrormoviemaniacs.com/mess_morgue in my namecheap control panel. What do I need to edit? Or is it something my webhost needs to change?

Thanks so much for the help it's appreciated

Nothing needs to be changed, sometimes it just takes longer for some peoples DNS servers to update with new Nameserver information then it does for others.
Yours obviously is taking longer, but will resolve likely in the next 24-36 hours.
Nameservers are the servers that keeps DNS records..

                    More Info :
DNS (Domain Name System), is the service which translates between Internet names and Internet addresses.
Internet names are the names which we use to refer to hosts on the Internet, such as www.tech-faq.com and www.freebsd.org.
Internet addresses are the numbers which routers use to move traffic across the Internet, such as 216.17.138.115 and 216.136.204.117.

                    Hope that helps a bit

Thanks Joe but this problem has been on and off. One minute the domain redirects properly for me, other times (like now) it redirects to this placeholder page.

Why is this occuring, also how come other people including yourself it's working fine for, but not me?

This is confusing the hell out of me,

Thanks for your help so far.

Its either a problem with your ISP's nameservers, or you may have to edit your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file in windows itself.

                          Hey Joe,

Well I'm pretty sure it's not my ISP, cause other people with the same one as me can see the site fine.

What exactly would I be looking for in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts ??

                          Thanks.....................

Joe, yeah I've checked and that's all there is. No other entries.

Hmm, what could it be? I've been scratching my head over this for days.
