    Disable image verification?

    Hi

Most of my new members have said they had to try a few times to type the image verification before getting it right. I am thinking of disabling it and wondered if there are any disadvantages if doing so?

I had a few people have problems getting the image text correct also. But if you disable it, you get the problem with bots registering and spamming your forum.. So its best to leave it on..

If you use imagemagick, the image might be a little clearer to read, and help with the issue of persons not getting the image text verification correct..

          Thanks for the advice guys

I have Imagemagick enabled but a lot of members were still having problems and had to try 2 or 3 times to get it right. Is there an easier way?

My users complain about the image verification as well. Can't something be done to make it more readable?

OK, I'll bit. Is 3.6 in general distribution? I have 3.5, how much will it cost me to upgrade?

I read the entire thread you pointed to me and more - still no mention of download availibility.
