I use EditPlus. It even automatically indents the code to an appropriate level for you

For php development I use jEdit(www.jEdit.org), a java editor with customizable xml-based syntax highlighting, and great customization features(code completion.. macros)
I have tried Ultraedit but it has a weee too much functions for my taste.. looked bloated to me.
I have tried AceHTML pro 4(won it in a www.phpdeveloper.org contest), it's nice but has some php syntax highlighting glitches, so I ditched it..
I have tried phpEd but it was too slow on my 233 mhz.
For html development I have always used UltraEdit, but now I use iNotepad, my homemade notepad replacement.
Notetab+ was a bit too bloated for me imho.Comment
