      I have not used an anti virus program in 2 years and in those 2 years I have never had a virus.

      The first line of defense is yourself.

      The only thing that I do is monitor my processes everynow and then to see if I notice anything unusual.

      I find all anti viruses annoying myself

      Nod32 does seem to be the best choice though

        McAffee is a huge resource hog, as well as Norton.

        Theres free options everywhere, but even still i'd go with Trend Micro PC-cillin. It's quick, comes with tools that work, and at the moment the real time protection tool is only using about 6,000k in memory.
