Very wise that Jelsoft has a policy of not using third party software. This is a case why.

The WHOLE reason I bought vBa Gallery was to get away from PhotoPost. Now they're going to take the code and screw it up like they do all of their other software, their support sucks, and all their software is, is their other software with language file changes. The only reason PhotoPost is around is because they orginally stole the code from vBulletin. Now, they're stealing...err, buying...vBa Gallery's code.
This has set my plans back several months...Comment

I've never been much of a PhotoPost fan, or other free gallery scripts because of dificulties in integrating with vB. PhotoPost lowered the price and made it easier to integrate into vB AFTER they lost a lot of customers to vBAdvanced's Gallery. I think this is a great opportunity for Jelsoft to take advantage of the situation and come up with something.... QUICK!Comment

According to Brian, the deal is not finalized yet. Jelsoft should definitely buy the gallery code.Comment

Question now is: will vBAdvanced be next?
ATTN Jelsoft: if the CMS/Gallery/Blog threads weren't enough, if vBAdvance is sold, ah...............................

I've already formally put a request in that Jelsoft make gallery software...
Here's what I'd like to see from Jelsoft (in order):
Gallery - Now the only thing that's out there is Photopost, and their support sucks.
Reviews - There are only two pieces of review software on the market; Censura (which has already been sold once), and ReviewPost (see previous statement about PhotoPost)
CMS - A GOOD CMS is needed that integrates with vBulletin. The other ones that are out there are nothing more than modified threads, really.Last edited by PBChannel; Sun 20 Nov '05, 11:20am.Comment

The gallery software should be THE priority.Comment

I disagree, I want a CMS that actually delivers what vBulletin forums do. None of the current CMS systems avaible do this.Comment
