      yup dedicated server
have to revise mine since it didn't include bandwidth IN only OUT

using 120GB/month for all bandwidth IN and OUT

just installed mod_gzip and this will cut at least 25% of my bandwidth for me

if you have a dedicated server you can installed mod_gzip and compress all pages not just php pages, if you have zlib compiled into PHP then you can go into vB admin panel and edit options and under headers/http you can set gzip to yes

            Please answer the following:

            1. How many members do you have?
            2. How many page views?
            3. How much bandwidth are you using?
            4. Dedicated server? Yes/No

            For me:
            1. 2700
            2. 160,000
            3. My log files say 25gig, but I don't know if I trust that or not (part of the reason for this question).
            4. No

            1. 26 members
            2. 1300
            3. about 170mb (that is just from the last week of last month... new site..)
            4. No.... I want one.... but I will only get one when the site can pay for itself...

As you can tell it is a new site... only about 2-3 weeks old

I am workn on a newer design right now. I LOVE vBulletin!!

Really? I would've thought from the amount of people that are always online at your place that it would've been way more!

                  Anways, on We're Here:

                  ~ 19,639 members
~ Hovering around 4,000,000 page views a month
~ Just under 125 GB served a month
                  ~ Dedicated server

Unfortunately, Interland decided to change their unmetered bandwidth to 25 GB a month, with a $250 charge per 100 GB used, it's more than doubled the cost of the server per month immediately!

I wish... I'm not allowed to edit the httpd.conf though, it's a managed server.
