How much bandwidth are you using??

Just trying to get an idea of how much bandwidth your using based upon some simple factors.
    Please answer the following:

    1. How many members do you have?
    2. How many page views?
    3. How much bandwidth are you using?
    4. Dedicated server? Yes/No

    For me:
    1. 2700
    2. 160,000
    3. My log files say 25gig, but I don't know if I trust that or not (part of the reason for this question).
    4. No

My site isn't much depending on forum.

          1. How many members do you have?
          141

          2. How many page views?
          35,000 to 40,000 / day

          3. How much bandwidth are you using?
I don't count. It's too small to count.
My site uses around 8 to 11 GB / month

          4. Dedicated server? Yes/No
Nope. On shared plan(highest shared plan)

Wow, 141 members create 35-40K daily pageviews, and you only use 8GB of bandwidth a month? What are you using to compress your pages?

            As for me:
            1,400
            750,000/month
            20GB/mo
SharedServer - going to dedicated soon if I can afford it

GZip is amazing -- I love it! It's produced slightly higer loads which were more than offset by the Zend Cache / Optimizer combo -- I highly suggest using either vB's homecooked or Zend's new-and-improved gzip output handler (which we are using).

                  GZIP

I tried the page that shows whether or not your site has gzip installed. It said that it doesn't. But what is strange is when I turn gzip off in my forums, the numbers go up when I try the test again. I also asked my host if they have Gzip on the MySQL server. No reply. Go figure.

                    Hooper,

That's exactly the same result I got. The online test doesn't always give the 'correct' answer. You need to look at the file sizes to determine whether compression is taking place.
