IMO if you don't want to pay a stupid amount of cash for petrol don't buy cars with stupid size engines. My car only has a 1.4 that only puts out about 60-65BHP and it's quick enough for most things. I don't see the point in all these silly 5 liter engined cars, they do exactly the same as small engined ones.

The prices are high here, but if I lived in Germany I'd still spend more just by using the autobahns all the time and killing my car!

They are hobbies for one. You do not have to make them your daily driver however.

Cause I have driven sports cars for the last 4 years of my life and I am spoiled with driving a 285HP Formula Firebird right now while building up a 300HP Mustang

Oh I completly agree.

We could drive these cars in the mid 90's and still enjoy 1.00 a gallon gas prices in America so I am quite sure we could still do it now.

It doesn't hurt however to offer more fuel efficent cars to those that want them. I personally do not wanta Hybrid car.... but for those that do then sell it to them!

We need to put pressure on our government to supply us with more Refineries here in America and continue to find ways to supply our own oil as much as possible.

And so you don't wonder, it's a 1.2 8v Renault Clio 03 model (mark 3) and can get up to 115 mph - May not seem alot but anything over 80mph here is speeding-ticket suicide mostly - Can get to 60mph in about 7/8 seconds, which is alot faster than the "Top Gear" specialists think
