Merchant City Music website, I have got a few packs of strings from them thats my local shop in Glasgow from my visit the staff are nice and helpfull.

Thats a good starter pack, there is many good guitar forums that can help you http://www.guitarnoise.com/ has some good songs and newbie tips.

I got a Ibanez Gio GSA 60 pack from Nevada Music in Portsmouth for £200 last year, at the time none of the shops in Glasgow had the pack and were only doing Fender packs which I didnt fancy so I got one online, the GRG170 looks very much the same as the
          GSA 60.

No right handed myself, I think that its best to do it left handed if you are left handed otherwise it would be harder to learn.

I quess you just turn the guitar upside down and restring it backwards thats what Kurt Cobain did.

That should suit you well to learn on; it's nice to be able to get the combo packages like that, they save ya quite a bit of money. You'd have no use for a bigger amp anyway.

I've got a Fender Standard Fat Strat (some ugly green color..oops), a Fender DG-22S (mine has Maple sides/back, I guess they don't make them like that anymore...) acoustic, and I should be getting my Martin D-16RGT sometime next week.

Take lesson if at all possible. I've taught myself, and my playing style is way off from where it should be, and I know absolutely nothing about theory.

I'm tempted to stick to the deal, mainly because I have no idea when it comes to looking for the equipment Is the amp and other stuff not worth more than £60 then?

Cool looking guitar. Is that a handle though? Haha, crazy. I really like how Ibanezes sound, but for some reason I don't like their headstocks..haha, it's the little things.
