Post your fav NES game(s) and tell us why you like it. Lets not end up with a ton of mario/zelda posts (although I forsee this thread going that way! )

This game never gets old, and even an old vet will tell you it is almost impossible to beat Tyson. I still play this game, sometimes every day. Give me this over Fight Night 2004 any time

I don't know how popular this game way, or how many people acully liked it but it is a great game imho. This idea is simple, race your offroad truck with 3 others, goal is to finish as high as you can so you can win money to upgrade your truck. This game support 4 player mode and makes a great party game.

It took a japanese developers to make american football play great on the NES. All other NES football games are trash compared to this one. They made a second "Super Tecmo Bowl" but I like this one better.

I can't say enough good things about this game! Basicly your goal is to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible while avoiding traffic and things that litter the side of the highway. This game will piss you off until you get the hang of it, expect to run the later tracks a few times before you beat them.

Also, if you got a pair of 3D glasses around you can use them with this game by pressing the select button and putting the game into '3D mode'. Never tried it so I don't know how well it works.

No photos, but my favorite was Zelda I or Super Mario Bros...

Heavy Barrel was pretty decent too.

Mario Kart is an SNES game, not an NES game.

The super hard game that no one has heard of, and very few have beat. It takes an entire day to play it straight through to the end. There are no saved games or codes to index into a previous state... you must play it all the way through in one sitting. Once you turn off the console, your game is gone and you have to start over.

I made it to the last world on the console, but could not make it to the last boss. The only way I was able to beat it was on an emulator using saved states.

Super Mario Bros. (1, 2, and 3, but especially 3)
                        Kirby's Adventures

Both had graphics way beyond their time. Even today, they look awesome. Can't say that for Donkey Kong.
                        :)

Double Dragon 1 is still one of my favourites as it was one of the first games I ever played in an Arcade. Blades of Steal was also awesome as I loved getting into a fight with an opponent, kicking there ass and then going on a power play. It also had cool voice overs. Rad Racer was fun and I liked the music in it.

Double Dragon, Punch Out and Karate Kid - Still have them all somewhere, just need to find the box where I placed those antiques (now let me find the atari).
