I recently got a solid part time job in a photo lab which gave me some extra cash to work with. I have had a fresh water fish tank for several years now but wanted something new, so I decided to start a marine tank. Let me start off by saying that its one very expensive hobby, but also probably the most exciting projects I've ever done. I purchased a 16 gallon bow about 2 months ago. After about 1 month of solid cycle, I started off with a Zooanthid colony and a recordia mushroom. About a week later I added the first fish, a yellow tail blue damsel. About a week after that a buddy fragged a hammar coral and another Zooanthid colony for me. About a week after that I purchased a condy anemone. Yesterday I got a pair of false percs. They love to play in the current and always swim together.
Anyway, I was just seeing if there are any marine enthusiats on the forums. If so, share some tank pictures or maybe even your setup. Here are a few pictures of my tank, which is at the momment very clean due to the excess of cleaning crew (snails, crabs). I have definately switched my hobby from computers to marine aquariums. I plan to keep up with the latest technology, but probably won't be dumping my extra cash into a new video card, but rather a new coral
