Now I want it known that I like seeing new options when it comes to software, service, and just about anything that gives the customer another choice to choose from. However, does this look like or act to much like vB?

If the answer is no, then I wish them the best of luck. But if the answer is yes, I hope they pay their dues. As I said, I'm all for something new and for people to have options. But I'm not for someone taking someone else's work and calling it their own.

For some odd reason, they decided to change vBB to vB just because a lot of people think that it is vBB and not vB.

I've had a look at it, and so far, the only thing I can see they copied is filenames. They appear to be doing the phpBB approach and integrating php code within templates...might be wrong

Well why not have one anyway Jerry? What if ovb b turns out to be using unauthorized Jelsoft code?

This means piratesreports are gonna go after all ovb installations and they are gonna need somewhere to go

It's open source, and available for download, so I'm sure Jelsoft has inspected the code by now... It's still missing a lot of features, so it appears that he is writing it himself, mimicking vBulletin 2's features/look/feel.

It's still not working for me. If I do http://www.ovB.org, I get a cPanel error, and if I click on the downloads page, I get a permission denied page.
