Using adsense on vbulletin

I haven't downloaded vbulletin yet, but I will be tonight. I plan on using adsense on my forums. I read somewhere that various things need to be changed in the vbulletin code which has to do with issues such as:

relevant ads being shown
spider crawling the forums
ads not showing up
etc

With the latest version of vbulletin, do things still need to be fixed?

you do not need to change anything on vBulletin to run adsense (except instert the adsense code )! I have adsense on my site and it works just fine

No, there are no issues with vBulletin and Adsense. You can simply edit a template and add the adsense code to it.

Yep, just insert the code where you want it to show up. In the past you had to use a special code so the ads would not show up on non content pages (like sign up, etc.) but Google updated their TOS

I'm a complete novice at this, and I run adsence on my site, no problem at all, very easy to do with no alterations.
