Well I got to go with vBAdvanced, though I have never actually used vBPortal. But I am sure if I had I would still go with vBAdvanced due to the fact that it is actually made for vbulletin and as far as I am aware vBPortal is not really made for vbulletin -

Personally I've used both. I like features in both, but choose to stick with the vBportal because it has more features and more flexibility (in my mind) to do what I want.Comment

I haven't used vbadvanced, but isn't it just trying to look like vbportal which has been around the longest.using vbportal 3.x for vbulletin 3.x - not just another pretty front page for your site.Comment

vB Advanced is the best - it isn't as bunched up as vB Portal. They don't squish the navbar in between the sidebars. Plus, it's made by our own Zachery.Comment

www.scotsmist.org.uk/index.php has the navbar above the columns with only two very minor template changes.using vbportal 3.x for vbulletin 3.x - not just another pretty front page for your site.Comment

Is vbindex in this game or not?
I just installed vBadvanced Gallery, so now I'm wondering whether to yank vbindex and install vBadvanced CMPS (might as well go all the way?)
Has anyone here done an uninstall of vbindex?
This poll is like voting Republican or Conservative or Libertarian with the Democrats left off the ticket. That would be fine with me, but I'd like to see vBindex on this ticket.Last edited by oldengine; Sun 12 Dec '04, 4:13am.Comment
